I never made that generalization. If you re-read my previous post I said that 
the certification process does not adequately measure the holders ability to do 
anything.  This is not the fault of the certificate holder, but of the 
certification authority.  I picked on the CEH in particular because of the 
complete lack of ethics the EC-Council has.  It's ironic that they chose the 
name for the certification that they did :).

I have done CEH, and I am not saying its great certification.
Anyone can clear this certification.

The entire point of my previous post was to encourage more active participation 
and contributions and discourage spending money on certifications that do not 
actually better anyone's situation except the certification authority.  Sorry 
if that was offensive.
