I have used SMAC since 2002 and I have just got SMAC 2.0 Professional. It is a
outstanding reliable tool for my training and pentest jobs.

KLC Consulting is giving FREE Licenses of SMAC 2.0 Professional Edition to
Authors and Trainers. Since I am a trainer, I got it for free. (check out the
SMAC website: http://www.klcconsulting.net/smac)

With SMAC 2.0 I can pre-load MAC Addresses into the MAC List so I can choose
MAC Address I want to spoof from my list. It saved me a lot of time when
doing demos and when I go to client sites to do various testings.

You said IPConfig is not important, however, all my students want to use
IPConfig during the demo to prove that MAC Address is spoofed from Windows
point of view.

So, here is the question, convince me:

Is your software opensource?
Is your software going to stay free forever?
Do you offer free technical support? (if I ever need it)

If not, I am probably going to stick with SMAC 2.0 where I know the quality is
good and I can get free tech support when I need it. It's probably not a big
deal to anyone (and I might be wrong), but with CISSP behind the SMAC
development, it give me just a little peace of mind for this type of tools.
