While a firewall is a very necessary precaution in protecting your database,
it is by no means sufficient. We have to be very careful not to believe that
Oracle is behind a firewall so security of it doesn't matter. My desktop at
work is behind a firewall but I know its still going to get attacked. There
are lots of attack vectors a firewall doesn't protect against.

No issues found regarding the underlying db ??

The DB is Oracle, but from what I saw, access to it externall was prevented
because of the firewall.

If you are authenticated to the device, I imagine there are plenty of SQL
injection opportunities.

If you are not authenticated to the device, the only avenue of attack in the
vein of SQL injection would be via the login page. In the brief time I
looked at it, that page suffered from no SQL injection vulnerabilities.
