Well this is how I would start:

* Most likely the Cisco Call Manager's AND Unity are on a windows
platform, as Linux support is not out till 5.0, which I can't even
get.
* The 'supported' platform is windows 2000, and it will most likely
be a win2000 box, so all the usual Windows 2000 exploits should
work hopefully
* The default location for Cisco CM web admin is :
https://ipaddress/ccmadmin/
* The default login/pass is : ccmadministrator/cisco
* Check if RDP and VNC is available, the prolly will be...remember a realVNC exploit was just released, check metasploit.
* Use VLAN hopping to get on the voice VLAN
* Possibly use CDP packets to get on the VLAN
* Check the router/gateway and the switches for 'r00ting' them via
old http exploits or mainly SNMP hacking
* Sniff traffic for 'chatty' cisco protocols that give a shitload of
info for enumeration/recon
* Sniff VoIP RTP in windows with ethereal or Cain&Able
* Sniff VoIP RTP in Linux via ethereal or VOMIT
* Use routing protocols for recon or for re-routing
* the normal arp spoofing for MITM

well that's just a start..........

I work exclusively in the Cisco IPT industry and I come from a security background so I would love to chat about this with you/the community:)

Hello,

I'm trying to do a pen-test on a Cisco IPT system.

Cisco IP telephone are connected on the same network cable as the PC, but
are working on another vlan.
The access switches have a configuration like :
switchport mode access
switchport access vlan 123
switchport voice vlan 124

I think the negotation with the access switch is done by CDP but I'm not sure.

Does anyone have a tool that emulates the PC as a voice device in order to receive a dhcp lease on vlan 124, so I can start to inject ARP MITM with Cain for example ?

Kind regards
Frank
