I like knoppix, following the KNOPPIX-REMASTERING-HOWTO

Added my own scripts to automate the process. Knoppix is supposed to have
the best hardware support ...
backtrack is great. Excellent wardriving with the auto-configure kismet and
all the wifi drivers. When I created my personal knoppix I used the
auditor/backtrack list of tools for a reference.
