First of all when you want to do it everywhere it's impossible, because when you send some packets they are routed by some gateways /routers/, which change mac of your packet to its own, (it's done in every jumps) and then when it(packet) comes back it does vice verse. So generally you are able to see only the mac of your gateway... of course, when you have the admin permission in wanted segment, you can do a lot of things... But i think you don't want to do it in your, "internal" network If you really wanna do it in your own network, you can simply check the routing information in each host (by smtp) and you know which way the packet can go. greetings Maciek ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Audit your website security with Acunetix Web Vulnerability Scanner: Hackers are concentrating their efforts on attacking applications on your website.
