Hi I've just been on a wireless security course where there was a lot of talk about WEP keys being poor security and easily crackable. I got home and decided to put it to practice and use aircrack against my own WEP key.
The Fluhrer-Mantin-Shamir method is not efficient in all cases.
The adaptive chosen plaintext attack works every time, though it is noisy. But the AP itself has no idea that anything is going on, because decryption errors aren't reported to the higher levels of the protocol.
