I would give netcat a try. Using it with the -p flag like this:

$nc -p 53 <ip> <destination port>

should allow you to connect to any destination port using 53 as a source 
port. It also has a variety of other functions that would probably prove to 
be useful for you, so I would definately give it a shot.
