There are some intersting gotchas in this kind of attack. Look at K2's and DIno's presentation and demo of hostile rogue AP attacks they did at pacsec.jp. Their updated paper which they will present at CanSecWest this year will reduce the attack system requirements from two nics (AP, sniffer) down to one, and have further enhancements and scary things to demonstrate. cheers, --dr -- World Security Pros.
