Can anyone reccomend any good ppc distributions. I have tried with the
knoppix ppc build from
2003-07-13_4 but could not get it to boot on my machine.

I seem to remember this one's default language is French. I was playing with
a LiveCD for BSD (I believe this one) and it seemed quite nice, except I
couldn't read the menus...
I may be thinking of another distro with a similar name. And if you speak
French, it won't be an issue for you.
