Fwd: Mac OSX Nessus Question

Subject: Fwd: Mac OSX Nessus Question
Date: Wed, 30 Jul 2008 04:53:22 -0700 (PDT)
Hi all,

This message has come to my attention. I am one of the two Inprotect project
admins, and I can assure you that we are very close to a 1.0 release. The
current development snapshot is available through sourceforge on SVN.

On to the answer: I am not certain if any of my team has a Mac, but I will
pose the question to them, and get back. However, I would guess that if you
had any issues, they would be minimalistic indeed.

We welcome any feedback, or bugs through the bugtracker tool on the inprotect
project at sourceforge. We also have started working on the inprotect.net
pages.

Looking for a good web front end for nessus that can
handle multiple
scanners and automate scans... Looked at inprotect but it
has to many bugs
and doesn't look to be maintained any more. Does any
one have any good
suggestions? Even commerical options would be considered

Does Nessus on OS X have the ability to use nmap/nicto/etc
from Macportsif
the paths are correct or is it just the Linux versions?
