I'm writing a script for detecting the AV status of systems scanned by Nessus and I noticed that plugin 16193 doesn't seem to report that Symantec AV is installed. According to this blog post: http://blog.tenablesecurity.com/2007/02/auditing_antivi.html it seems like it should be supported. Was it removed on purpose? Was it ever in there? It would save me a good bit of code if this plugin could report on Symantec AV's. Any thoughts? Thanks! Philip Henderson Security Analyst Trimble Navigation Ltd.
