Good -- it's a *very* helpful posting.

Here is my setup:
...
nessusd 3.2.0
Nessus Client 3.2.1
...
problem is, I can find anything within NessusClient for
configuration. According to the blog, it should be in the
Edit Policy->Advanced tab. I am not finding anything on
this page or within any of the drop menus.

Tenable has a fairly detailed user guide for NessusClient 3.2 --
http://www.nessus.org/documentation/NessusClient_3.2_User_Guide.pdf
-- that you may want to look at. In short, though, you'll want to
connect to a server, select the scan policy that you are using, and
then select "Edit..." to bring up the policy editor window. Towards
the top of the new window, you'll see several tabs: "Policy",
"Options", etc. The one you want is "Advanced", all the way to the
right. Click on that, select "Nikto (NASL wrapper)" from the pull-down
menu, and finally click on "Enable Nikto". If it's not listed, it
could be because the plugin has been corrupted, you're not actually
logging in to a Nessus 3.x server, or nikto.pl truly wasn't found in
the path.
