One of the main issues i have had in the past with this jeff is the export to MySQL, it does not include everything, it misses important things like the plugin output. Second most important issue for me with NessusWX is that it stores passwords in clear text. Thanks for putting some time into this, the NessusWX client is a fantastic client and I am happy to see someone willing to do some work on it. I'm considering doing work on the legacy NessusWX client to fix bugs and issues with it, as well as put in some improvements. Part of this involves administrative chaff on my end (finding the free time, getting employer permission, etc). but there's some technical stuff as well. So I have two questions for the Nessus community that I'd appreciate input on. It can be on-list or off-list, either is fine. 1) What bugs or problems have you experienced with NessusWX? What significant features should be added? 2) If you've had experience working on the NessusWX source and compiling it, can you let me know what development tools you used and the level of success (or failure) you had? If I can put together a good enough case for this project it *might* be something my employers would support. Otherwise, any work I'd do would have to be on my own time and would mean significant more time to get results. So the more feedback/support i can get from the Nessus community, the better.
