Hi, I used plugin 21745 to check the remote login credential and I got the following result. When I entered the correct username and password in Nessus, I got the output statement "The local checks failed because Unsupported Linux distribution" and it still failed to log into the host. What does the output about? Does it mean that the scanning would be failed if I use plugins that needs credentials? P.S.: I am using Nessus 3.0.6.1 in Win XP and I can log into the remote host via SSH with the username and password that I've mentioned above. Thanks a lot~ Kevin
What kind of operating system are you logging into? Ron Gula Tenable Network Security _______________________________________________ Nessus mailing list Nessus@list.nessus.org http://mail.nessus.org/mailman/listinfo/nessus
