Hi Doug, It looks like your registration process either never happened, had an error, is being prevented by a proxy or some other reason. When you get an update, the NASLs won't necessarily have today's date on them, but they won't be as old as 2008-01-02 either. I suggest re-registering and paying close attention to any logs or error messages to see what the issue is. One more thing -- what is in the contents of your plugin_feed_info.inc file? Ron Gula Tenable Network Security
Hi Ron, I just upgraded Nessus from 3.0.x (Fedora 7) to 3.2 (Fedora 8) and I re-registered with a new activation code. I then ran the ls -lt | more command in /opt/nessus/lib/nessus/plugins and verified that nearly all the plugins are dated 3-18-08 (some are a little older). So it seems like my problem is at least temporarily resolved. In a few weeks, I will check to make sure that my plugins are automatically updating. If they still date from 3/18, I will get in touch with you again but hopefully that won't be necessary. To answer your question, the contents of my plugin_feed.inc file currently is: PLUGIN_SET = "200803181734"; PLUGIN_FEED = "Registered (7 days delay)"; Thank you very much for your help and guidance.
