because it's not gentoo problem. In 2.2.10 ./configure --disable-gtk
does not work properly (i had to repair it).

What exactly do you mean by "does not work properly"? One of the
systems I use for testing plugins runs Gentoo without graphics
support, and I have been building Nessus 2.x from source with each new
release. I've never had any issues using './configure --disable-gtk ...'

when i started #./configure --disable-gtk
configure script checked for gtk headers and issued warning (only warning)
Then durring make (when xstuff was compiled) it crashed because did not find
gtk.h
(in Makefile there was flag USE_GTK, i had to remove it).

After that it works fine. I'm moving to version 3 right now...

Thanx
