plugin 10919 check open ports

Subject: plugin 10919 check open ports
Date: Sat, 16 Feb 2008 16:11:18 +0100
Hi all,

I have done a default nessus scan. The result of which is two ports
are unavailable post scanning. Plugin 10919 (definition below),
reports the status of the ports. For this case, I don't have any
information on what plugin actually caused these services to stop
running. Perhaps the nessus community knows a method to pinpoint the
plugin or plugin set that is causing these services to stop running.

Regards
Kevin

Description:

During the Scan a port that was previously open has now closed.

There exist numerous possible causes for this failure. The scan may
have caused the service to freeze or stop running. An administrator
may have stopped this particular service during the scanning process.
A network failure may have occurred.

Risk factor : None
