Guys,
This has already been done. How else would I have got the plugins?
Once the challenge string and activation code is entered in the link
you get a link to the latest plugins. I have downloaded those plugins
and they have been installed on the Nessus Server. My question is why
has the plugin_feed_info not updated itself accordingly? Perhaps this
is a limitation of the manual update?

How do you update your plugins exactly ? Via nessus-update-plugins ?

Do /opt/nessus/sbin/nessus-update-plugins -vv to see what's going
on.

The following message appears

"nessus-fetch is properly configured to receive a Registered
feed"

And what is in your plugin_feed_info.inc file ? Note that the
plugin
set is independant from the time you perform a plugin update. The
current set is 200801281935.
