Nessus SYN Scans + Router Issues

Subject: Nessus SYN Scans + Router Issues
Date: Wed, 23 Jan 2008 14:52:12 +1100
Hi Everyone,

I am performing Nessus scans through a Vigor 2800 router to a client over the
Internet.

When performing scans using the SYN scanner inside Nessus, the router stops
working. If I use the SYN scanner in NMAP, everything is fine.
When we had the older DLINK router in, there were no issues like this.

Has anyone seen something like this?

Tom.
