Scanning Name based virtual hosts

Subject: Scanning Name based virtual hosts
Date: Wed, 02 Jan 2008 16:50:19 -0500
I found some info that suggested that I needed to specify a name based
virtual host as follows:

so.me.I.P[host.name.goes.here]

for example:

192.168.1.1[my.site.com]

But I don't believe its actually working. It appears to be scanning
what ever comes up if I request via IP.

This, obviously, only applies to the web based checks.

Do I have the syntax wrong? Is this still supported?

Thanks,
John
