I'm getting a message : An unknown server is running on top of SSL/TLS on this port. You should change find_preferences to look for SSL based services and restart your scan. So I did, but the option I thought should cover this is already set to "All" Services[radio]: Test SSL based services = All So what other option should I enable ?
There isn't another. It appears to be some sort of TLS / SSL alert. Perhaps the service requires a client certificate. Do you know what it is? If so, could you share (privately?) the complete banner / KB that you're getting? I've also just updated the plugin so it checks the preference and avoids telling you to do something you've already done. It should become available through nessus-update-plugins in the next 2-3 hours. Look for revision 1.31 for plugin #11154.
