Hi Anuj,

Nikto needs to be in your path when executing the nessusd daemon, and
enabled in the GUI (NessusClient) as follows. To verify, you should be
able to run Nikto manually outside it's 'home' directory successfully.

i.e. $PATH:/opt/nikto-2.01

NESSUS CLIENT (.nessusrc)
safe_checks = no
auto_enable_dependencies = yes
Nikto (NASL wrapper)[checkbox]:Enable Nikto = yes

PS : If you use the GUI to create the initial '.nessusrc', I'd be
interested if you export the '.nessusrc' from the GUI and use it with the
command line (i.e. /opt/nessus/bin/nessus -q -c .nessusrc) on the Nessus
server, whether Nikto is executed, 'cause I've discovered that in this
scenario it is called, but doesn't execute ;-(

Nikto integration with Nessus

Hi,

Can someone guide me on how to integrate Nikto with Nessus. I have an idea
that I have to copy nikto.pl in the same folder as user (say root) however
not very sure if this would work.

Can I use it with Nessus windows version too?

Would appreciate if someone help me with the steps to integrate Nikto with
Nessus.
