Yup, I've used (and modified @ http://www.aznetworksecurity.com) those
.xsl templates, but the NessusClient 3.0 converts my old .xml files, to a
.nessus format, and the .xsl files don't quite render them, however, the
newer NessusClient3.0 creates entirely different looking output than the
stock nessus install, which implies there's a different .xsl out there
somewhere....

I'm guessing there's enough changes to the older one from securityfoundry
(still available via one archive or another where he sent it to a list) --
that it'll have issues with the newer.nessus format as well...

I found one that I have since modified and used successfully on Solaris
via commandline. However, it depends upon the version of XML used (DTD,
Schema, etc.) so it may not work for you. The Windows server install does
actually include the basic xsl files in the

\Program Files\Tenable\Nessus\report_styles folder.

I tried to locate the link to the file I mentioned earlier, but all links
I have appear to be broken at this time. It should reside in the
CVS.nessus.org somewhere. A simple Google Search using "nessus.xsl" will
produce some useful links as well.

The XML Stylesheet I modified was written by Axel Nennker and updated by
Chuck Willis. They claim the latest version can be found here, but I
tried the link and it currently fails. http://www.securityfoundry.com/ <

I've looked at the nix & windows installs for the 3.0 Nessus
client, but find no ".xsl" that it's using to transform the .nessus into
the report format they're showing.

Has anyone worked on a .xsl for the .nessus they'd care to share,
or located one that they've had good success with?

        Thanks,
