My most recent scheduled scan shows Nessus plugin 11618 is indicating "The remote host does not discard TCP SYN packets which have the FIN flag set." I understand the implications of not discarding packet's with "unusual"flags. However, I have not seen this result in the scan report until now. I made no changes to the scheduled scan other than updating the plugins. My question is why has it started indicating? Is it a new plugin or an update to an old?
