Hello Todd, I have a development network that is all running on vmware (free version), and I treat all of the servers/workstations as if there were build on hardware. The only think that I've ran into is I had a assessment of a application that used a usb device as the license key, the free version of vmware didn't discover it correctly, the pruchased version of VMWare does.. Good morning all, I am looking for opinions from anybody with experience in scanning virtual servers with nessus. Do you treat it the same as a stand alone server? How do the scans affect the host machine, if at all? Any tips good or bad? etc. Thanks for the info. -- Todd _______________________________________________ Nessus mailing list Nessus@list.nessus.org http://mail.nessus.org/mailman/listinfo/nessus
