offline registration/plug in update

My first time posting . . . thanks in advance for any help.



I uninstalled Nessus on a server that does not have access to the
external internet. My original install was performed when the server had
internet access.



I reinstalled (without internet access) and tried to offline register. I
was told to copy the nessus-fetch.rc file to the C:\Program
Files\Tenable\Nessus\Config (Windows install) directory and I did.



When I open the Nessus welcome page, I get a message that Nessus is not
registered for plugin updates. I rebooted and the message is still
there.



So my questions are:



1)      What can I do to register this properly - and is it possible the
old install is impacting the new registration, even though I
uninstalled?

2)      Can I just copy the plugins from one of my other Nessus scanners
(that does have internet access) to this server or will I have other
unforeseen issues?
