Errors installing Nessus on Debian Etch for AMD64

Subject: Errors installing Nessus on Debian Etch for AMD64
Date: Tue, 25 Sep 2007 12:36:14 -0700 (PDT)
I have searched the list archives and found
recommendations to install ia32-libs and libssl.0.9.7.
 I have installed both. I run install with:

dpkg -i --force-architecture
Nessus-<version>-debian3_i386.deb.

I have attempted this with both versions 3.05 & 3.06
with the same result:
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of
nessus: nessus depends on libssl0.9.7 (>=0.9.7e);
however: Package libssl0.9.7 is not installed.

And etc. Trying to then run nessusd produces errors
also referencing libssl0.9.7. dpkg says libssl0.9.7
is installed.

Can anyone help with this? Thank you.
