No , I just launched updatecmd.exe.; I don't know to which site it's connecting, but I got the authentication pop-up from my proxy. This shows that the config is OK and that I get back plugins from Tenable. Hence my question about the version. On the download site, there is no "sub-version" indication : just "3.0.6 for Windows"
What I meant is that you must had downloaded the smbshell.nbin plugin at http://cgi.tenablesecurity.com/ tenable/smbshell.php manually. This nbin file is a command line plugin and is not part of the plugin feed. And, to be sure, I checked that it was not present in the default install of 3.0.6 for Windows. Now if you want to get rid of this warning message you just need to remove this file from your plugin directory.
