Quoting jfvanmeter@comcast.net:
Hello everyone, I was in a meeting and the question was asked,
what
determines if a plug-in is created for a vulnerability and I
thought
I would ask. is the creation of a plugin based on how widely the software is
deployed? sure, I'll think if the vulnerability is wide-spread this takes into account if a check is created. Then it must also be possible to create a plugin which works, that is not always true. But if someone wanted to test for a leak he/she will create it. I know most plugings are accepted for GPL feed adoption, but for instance an XSS in a webapp not that much used will not see the main GPL feed. --Ferdy-- _______________________________________________ Nessus mailing list Nessus@list.nessus.org http://mail.nessus.org/mailman/listinfo/nessus
