New Release: simpleness 2.0

Subject: New Release: simpleness 2.0
Date: Sun, 19 Aug 2007 14:39:48 -0500
It's been quite some time, but I've finally updated simpleness. My version
of a simple Nessus scanner and reporting web interface. Version 2 has been
pretty much completely re-written. I wrote the frontend with Adobe Flex and
optimized the PHP and SQL calls to make is significantly faster than version
1.2. Version 2 now has the ability to schedule scans, administer running
and scheduled scans and faster reporting. I've also added functionality to
backup and trim the database.

I've been using this version in production at my company for the past few
months. I believe I have all of the bugs worked out - but that's not to say
that some might still exist. This may not fit everyone's needs, but I felt
like sharing with the community in hopes that it would help someone.
