Re: Nikto Result Problem When Nikto is Integrated in Nessus

sometimes,I  means all conditions are similar both targets and and
configurations.But in one scanning I obtain nikto result and in other scan I
cannot.

I choose no 404 checks plugin also but I could not solve the problem.

Maybe nikto.pl exited immediately.How can l stop to exit immediately.

When I look at the nikto.nasl ,

if(! defined_func("pread")) exit(0);
if(! find_in_path("nikto.pl")) exit(0);
 and other exit cases no404 or no http ports

why does it exit immediately , which if case cause to exit immediately?

Can I remove the some cases in the nikto.pl in order to prevent from
existing immediately?
