Windows v Linux Nessus

Thanks for replies about my "Running Nessus On Virtual Machine"
question.

I currently rely on running Linux Nessus from the command line (via
cron) and specify a file containing target IP numbers. I also make use
of NBE format output files. I have been taking a quick look at the
Windows version of Nessus and reading what people say about it. Would I
be correct in saying (despite its other nice features) that it is not
easy or impossible to schedule the Windows version to scan a set of
hosts and generate NBE format output i.e. it must be driven
interactively by a user.
