Lisa, Yes, log into the Support Center where you will find your Feed subscriptions with an option to reset it. After doing that you will be able to re-register your code. See the following KB article for registering. Replace the <CODE> text with your real code. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to open a support ticket either via email or through the Support Center. Regards, -- Dan Daniel Bowman Director of Support & ITS Tenable Network Security mailto:dan@tenablesecurity.com http://www.tenablesecurity.com/ Knowledgebase ARTICLE SUMMARY: How do I use the activation codes ? SYMPTOMS: How do I use the activation codes that are provided to me through the Nessus support center ? RESOLUTION: Each activation code allows you to register one scanner. On each scanner installation, you need to type (as root) : /opt/nessus/bin/nessus-fetch --register <CODE> Under FreeBSD, type : /usr/local/nessus/bin/nessus-fetch --register <CODE> Where <CODE> is one of the activation code which is available to use in the support center. Once your scanner has been registered, it will update its plugins automatically every 24 hours. You can change this delay or disable this feature by editing /opt/nessus/etc/nessus/nessusd.conf and set the option 'auto_update' and 'auto_update_delay' accordingly. -----Original Message----- From: nessus-bounces@list.nessus.org [mailto:nessus-bounces@list.nessus.org] On Behalf Of Lisa Curley Sent: Tuesday, March 27, 2007 15:48 To: nessus@list.nessus.org Subject: Transferring a Direct Feed Subscription My shop has a Direct Feed Subscription which we had set up on an internal server. We've since semi-retired that server and are using a different one which has a completely different access to do external scanning of our network. How do I go about transferring the Direct Feed Subscription from the first server to this new one? Do I just reset the Activation Code in Tenable Support Center online and then enter it on the new server? Thanks for any help. L. S.
