I have been asked to make sure my scans include searches for default passwords.
I found out that my nessus wx windows GUI that points to my linux installation
3.0.2 of nessus does not give me the option to choose the "brute force" family.
The hydra plugins are downloaded into /opt/nessus/lib/nessus/plugins.
Therefore, I downloaded and installed hydra 5.3. However I still cannot get the
plugins to "load". I found mention of a PATH in regards to nessusd
(http://mail.nessus.org/pipermail/nessus/2004-March/msg00154.html) but i do not
understand. Is there an integration manual out there?
