I have a dns machine with and IPS. If we ping the server, we're blocked, but the only open port is UDP 53.... Can I turn off all ping (UDP TCP ICMP) and will nessus then scan the IP I supply without question? I have a few other machines in the same situation, but other ports... I use nessus from cron using batch mode Nessus -T nbe -qx localhost 1241 user pass infile outfile
