Hey list,
here's the freshmeat link http://freshmeat.net/projects/nessquik/?branch_id=65837&release_id=241183
and here's the link on my home area http://home.fnal.gov/~tarupp/
and if you want to wget it, here's the direct link http://home.fnal.gov/~tarupp/nessquik/nessquik-2.0.tar.gz
There's a lot of new stuff this time around.
- scan progress bars and fun
- settings can be configured for individual scans
- reports can be sent in text or html
- there's a scheduling feature, so you
can just create scans and let them
reschedule themselves
- reports are saved for later viewing
- and a hoard of bug fixes to make things more stable
- oh and lots more stuff, just use it and see.
or read the changelog in my home area.A couple points about the next big release.
- php 5 folk will be able to cancel scans in progress
- a diffing feature will probably be added to see
differences in scan reports
- histories of saved scans will be added
- further customization of scan settings
- a new, equally simple, interface is in the loop.
- point and shoot "scanmenow" code that we wrote in house.Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!
