George Ah yes I realize that and I understand how it is necessary to support a manageable number of Linux flavors. I'm hoping (K)ubuntu can be supported in the future. It's gaining a lot of popularity and the maintainers do a good job keeping the package repositories up to date. For the benefit of others who might be using (K)ubuntu, I've done some additional investigation and found that Nessus 3.04 will install flawlessly on version 6.04 "Dapper Drake". Evidently the most recent version 6.10 has a number of issues. Thanks for your input though. Jim ----------------------------------------------- Kubuntu 6.10 is not a supported environment.
