Re: Win2K3 Install Problems

   It was suggested that I install msxml6.msi (done),  and DOTNETFX
(done). I am still having the same problems as below. It appears that as
the install starts to create the desktop icon, and add the nessus
service - ut fails. I let the message error sit on the desktop before
answering "ok" button, and I am able to download the plugins, add-users,
run scan and it works - even creates reports.
   Once I hit the"ok" button - nessus is removed.
   Any guidance is appreciated.

Morning,
   I am trying to install the windows version on a Windows 2003 server
machine SP1. After I get the Accept terms box, it starts to install,
then after a minute or two it gives me this error back:  

Error 1935: An error occurred during the installation of assembly
'Microsoft.MSXML2.PublicKet.Token=
"6bd6b9abf345378f",version="4.1.0.0",type="WIN32",processorArchitecture="x86"
  HRESULT: 0x80070002

   I ran the suggested command: regsvr32 %windir%\system32\msxml4.dll 
- it came back - DllRegisterserver in C:\Windows\system32\msxml4.dll
succeeded

   Any and all help is appreciated.
