As to the padlock, most probably the file is owned by root and you are 
not
running as root. Either change the ownership of the file, e.g., sudo 
chown
<your userid> <path and file to be chowned>, or change the permissions 
to
allow others to read them, e.g., sudo chmod a+r <path and file to be
chmoded>.
i haven try it, til i go to lab on monday..!thnks for the info..

hie list..!
 
i have successfully done a few scanning job from my linux mandrake 
server by
using nessus-installer-2.2.8..!

they are a few types of format that i can saved the scanning report, 
eg.
.html, .nbe and etc..!

the report wil generated each time after it finished scanning...!in 
order to
organized the reports in a proper display or in dynamic view.....i want 
to
keep the reports inside my Database (DB) ...!

I want the reports automatic saved inside my DB after it finished each
scan..!how am i going to do it..??any tools or application where it can 
grab
the reports straight to my DB??what type of file should i saved??

by the way, after i saved the report, and named it as report.nbe to my
desktop, i can't open the file..!they is a padlock icon on the 
report.NBE
file..?why could this happen??is they anywhere that i can open it..?

your guidance will help me much..
