I have some questions about nessus command line and was hoping I could get some help. My goal is to have Nessus 3.0.3 run scans via the cron but each cronjob has different parameters. How can I set nessus to use certain plugins & ports for certain scans and other plugins/ports for another scan. I believe this is set via your .nessusrc but I see that my .nessusrc has port_range = default # is this 1-65535? I read about update-nessusrc http://www.tifaware.com/perl/update-nessusrc/ . Is this my best/only way of doing this?
I am going to setup a MySQL db for Nessus but still want to save the output as html and as nbe (so I can import it into my db). Is there a way I can get Nessus to output the results as nbe and as html or do I have to run nessus -i file.nbe -o file.html after my scan?
Thanks, Nick Baronian _______________________________________________ Nessus mailing list Nessus@list.nessus.org http://mail.nessus.org/mailman/listinfo/nessus
