Okay, so would it help if I posted the strace64 info? It's 7 meg...

I have began running the gui client and adding checks one at a time
(with dependencies) and it will run all they way through so far...
eventually i expect one of the plugins to fail and cause the crash -
but I'm not sure how to identify it and remove it form the
configuration...

Guess I'll post what info I do find out when I find it out - this is a
bit of a slow process. :)

As a follow-on, I've noticed that the available binaries do not include 64bit or PPC versions - could there be a plugin issue with this architecture? I've been running nessus on an IBM PPC machine for a year now...well a year less one month...

Hello all - got a problem.

After a plugin update on the first of August my client began failing
with a segmentation fault. I run both the update and the scans via
cron and scripts - so I only noticed last week. I've since upgraded
the client (2.2.8 for Linux) and the plugins but still have the issue.
Does anyone have any ideas?
