Local checks on AIX (and Solaris)

Subject: Local checks on AIX (and Solaris)
Date: Wed, 19 Jul 2006 11:38:39 +0100
Hi,

I'm trying to scan three AIX systems, using local checks. Plugin 12634 is
failing with the following output:

-------
It was possible to log into the remote host using the supplied password
However the execution of the command "uname -a" failed, so local security
checks have not been enabled

Nessus return the following error message :
Nessus failed to open a new SSH channel. Received code was not
SSH_MSG_CHANNEL_OPEN_CONFIRMATION (91). It was : 95
-------

I can SSH without problems using Putty, and Security Expressions scans the
system successfully. I have previously seen this problem on Solaris systems as
well.

If you need any info about SSH settings, etc. I'm happy to help.

Best wishes,

Paul
