Re: Detect IKE VPNs

I scanned a host which I manually verified had IKE running on port 500,
but I cannot get nessus to report that it has detected this service. I
can manually run the nasl (nasl -t <ip.address> ike_detect.nasl) and
verify there is a response from the server using tcpdump:

It could be the VPN server you're scanning does XAUTH or using a
groupname authentication with PSK.
I have also one VPN system not detected by this plugin, because without
identification it will not respond
with signatures. The ike_detect.nasl needs the sigs to report an error,
otherwise it will not be successful.

"ike-scan -A -v [ip-address]" doesn't work, but
"ike-scan -A -v --id=[groupname] [ip-address]" will give me nice info
about the proposed policy,
the system in use (sig) and some other sigs like for DPD/XAUTH.
