installed the Windows beta and discovered "nessuscmd" is the commandline
client on that platform. :-(

changes being made to this command but in the meantime is there any way
to run the "nessus" commands without rolling back the software?

The Windows software is in a state of flux. If indeed that's what you're
using, you should write the folks at beta@tenablesecurity.com with your
questions or concerns.
