I wrote Simpleness (http://tech.stlsawall.com/index.php/?page_id=11) for this purpose. I've been using it for over a year at my office and haven't had any problems.
I'm actively working with another guy in Dubai to start adding more features to the app, such as custom nessusrc files, scheduling, etc. So I hope to have a new version out in the next few months.
In any case, it's easy to install, easy to use and pretty straight forward.
Good luck.
Chris
Hi list,
I'm conducting vulnerability assessment from my home office, my Nessus server being on a remote RedHat box running under VMware (okay, not supported, not performant, but still, it does a good job !) I'm running the client right from the linux box through the VMWare console (sort of remote desktop, or carbon copy, ...) This is working ok, but the screen refreshes are desperately slow.
This is why I'm searching a web interface for Nessus that could be used to set up params, and then launch the scan in the background The only one that appears to do so is Inprotect. Unfortunately, the website appears to be out of business (it redirects to Google)
Does anybody have heard of a similar tool ?
Cheers
