3.02 plugin updates not working ?

Subject: 3.02 plugin updates not working ?
Date: Thu, 25 May 2006 10:21:56 -0400
My previous message never made it to the list - I don't see it on the
archives either...

I don't see my setup trying to update the plugins - When nessusd starts
it outputs in nessusd.messages that it will update plugins every 24
hours, but there's not mentioning later that that's the case.

Also, if a new plugin was released, how would I know that I do actually
have it ?

If I do run nessus-update-plugins by hand, it gets the new plugins and
also records the event in nessusd.messages.

[Thu May 11 12:20:47 2006][21688] Caught HUP signal - recompiling the
plugins and restart nessusd
[Thu May 11 12:22:58 2006][21688] received the USR1 signal
[Thu May 11 12:23:01 2006][481] nessusd-update: started. Will update
plugins every 24 hours
[Thu May 11 12:23:01 2006][482] nessusd 3.0.2 (build 147) started

Finally, I would appreciate a nessus-update-plugins option to check for
updates but do nothing.

TIA...
