Have you tried without the benefit of a proxy server or a firewall? My apologies if I meant "were you connected" as your mail earlier implied that you were not connected on that host (turns out that that host is the one you are mailing from).

OK that's the theory. Now in practice this is not happening. I just started the regsitration.exe and my trusty sniffer and there is no traffic going from my machine anywhere.
