What did you see after this? Did nessus-update-plugins actually abort by itself? I'd expect to see either an error message or a file named 'all-2.0.sig' also present if that happened.

Durring scanning i receive in logs many warnings like:
[Wed Apr 19 18:16:30 2006][27271] user nessus : Not launching
debian_DSA-604.nasl against xxx because the key Host/Debian/dpkg-l is missing
(this is not an error)
[Wed Apr 19 18:16:30 2006][27271] user nessus : Not launching
solaris9_113073.nasl against xxx because the key Host/Solaris/showrev is
missing (this is not an error)

When i made scanning in results i received alert:
"You are running a version of Nessus which is not configured to receive;a full
plugin feed. As a result, the security audit of the remote host produced;incomplete
results. To obtain a complete plugin feed, you need to register your Nessus scanner at
http://www.nessus.org/register/ then run nessus-update-plugins to get the full list of
Nessus plugins"

These messages are almost certainly caused by the nessus-fetch problem. Once you fix that, these should go away.
