Im using Suse 10 and the latest Nessus and NessusClient from the website. I normally give the NessusClient a range of IP's to scan and it never really comes back with much info, only some ports but no vulnerbilities. I've been using older version of Nessus for yesrs with no problems. I have tried many different combinations in NessusClient but the results are nearly always the same. Does anyone have an IP address I can scan, I would like to compare my results with yours? I only know how to use NessusClient and no other way. I have over 10,000 plugins and it use to always find various "holes", but nothing now. I have tried all the different ports scanners, turn ping on & off, cgi's on off. Doesn't make any difference. Also once the scanner has finished and I try to scan a different port range it always scans the previous port range. I have to restart it.

Did you take a look at what the logs say to see which plugins were run?
